As our eighteen-year-old protagonist meets the esteemed Ret Avidine, Orven has it all: his hero, his city, and his ideals. But when Ret’s project fails, Orven must come into his own adulthood and make difficult decision after decision as he maneuvers through punishing healthcare systems that pit his welfare against his goodness. As Orven’s resolve is tried, it is your choices that determine whether his hope can break through the pervasive smog.
