Life in the Kingdom

From the Devs

Most games give you endless lives.

This one gives you one reign, and the legacy you leave behind.

You're crowned at twenty five. From that first fateful morning until your final year, the kingdom moves on the same clock you do. Seasons pass. Children are born. Wars break out. Towns rise or fall. Friends grow old. Rivals make their move. Every choice becomes part of the life you've lived.

There's no second ruler waiting behind the curtain. When your reign ends, the story is over, and the kingdom remembers.

So the question is simple:

What did you build with your life?

👑 ONE LIFE, LIVED FOR REAL

• Court and marry, crown your lifelong partner.

• Heirs are born, named with care, and grow up over the years with a voice that rings through the palace walls.

• See your ruler age from a sharp-eyed eighteen-year-old monarch to a grey-crowned elder.

• Old age is an exciting time. It is the final chapter of your reign, with its own burdens, wisdom, and choices. Will you be able to realize your aspirations in time?

• When your life comes to an end, Reign Remembered gives you a personal epilogue shaped by what you actually did, your legacy carved into your epitaph.

🏰 A LIVING, BREATHING KINGDOM

• Your kingdom is alive with mayors, princes, princesses, criers, schemers, petitioners, and rivals who are not past using force to get what they want.

• Rivals do not wait politely for your permission. They seize influence, force alliances, and try to bend your towns to their will. Face them head-on, break their hold, and set your people free.

• As the years pass, petitions and dilemmas come before the crown. Some are simple. Some will cost you. Many will echo for years.

• Build farms, forges, resource production, storage, and defenses. Collect taxes, feed your people, fund your army, and decide what kind of kingdom survives you.

• Between the great decisions, life continues: festivals, royal balls, town bulletins, criers in the square, all with your loyal pet at your heels.

⚔️ WIELD YOUR SWORD FOR JUSTICE

• Life in the Kingdom features real-time action combat built for seamless keyboard/controller support, with 18 weapon evolutions that reshape how your arsenal plays.

• Build into deep perk synergies, commit to your combat style, and venture into eight themed dungeons, from the torch-lit Cave to the Starforge Below.

• In later eras, elite enemies will test whether your ruler has truly grown stronger… or merely grown older.

📜 YOUR LEGACY

• Royal Ambitions track the kind of ruler you're becoming.

• The Chronicle records your reign year by year, proclaiming milestones, failures, treasured discoveries, and turning points.

• Collectible trinkets, weapons, weapon upgrades and gear sets are displayed in your castle as proof of the life you lived.

✝️ A KINGDOM IN MORE THAN NAME

Life in the Kingdom carries an earnest thread of Christian faith. Town criers preach in the square, mercy is treated as strength, and the game's heart is a question of stewardship, what you do with the life you were given. It's woven into the world, and carried by the colorful personalities of the people that live in it.
