Frédéric Chopin returns from the dead to a world where music has been overtaken by commercial pop. In a comic, globe-trotting story, he takes on pop performers in musical duels to restore music's creative spirit.
Duels play as piano-inspired rhythm challenges: notes scroll toward a seven-key layout, and you press the matching keys in time with the music. Accurate timing builds combos and helps you outscore your opponent; you can play with keyboard or mouse.
The campaign moves through colorful locations and features twelve arrangements of Chopin pieces reworked in different musical genres. Multiple difficulty levels, bonus songs, and achievements offer ways to revisit tracks and improve your performances.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its Chopin arrangements, playful comic tone, and distinctive premise as reasons the rhythm duels make for an entertaining musical detour. Some also say the tracks are enjoyable beyond the game. Other reviews find the PC controls awkward, the difficulty uneven, or the campaign short and repetitive, so the experience is not praised consistently.
