Lead a survivor on a zombie-apocalypse road trip, moving from one dangerous area to the next in a bus. Each run offers a changing route through stages, with a final boss waiting farther along the journey.
Fight growing zombie hordes while exploring for loot and the fuel needed to leave each stage. Decide how long to keep scavenging as danger rises, and use movement and dashes to avoid enemies; level-ups can bring airdrops with additional items.
Weapons and items occupy limited, block-shaped backpack space. Arrange them to fit your loadout and create adjacency effects, and combine or craft items into stronger gear. Back at base, unlock characters, items, and upgrades that carry into later runs.
Players who enjoy the game often single out the backpack puzzle: fitting weapons and items together to create useful synergies makes looting and building a loadout engaging, and some also enjoy testing those builds against zombie hordes. Scavenge for the most ridiculously overpowered loot to cram into your tiny backpack - like any road tripper worth their salt, it’s on you to work packaging magic. Each Weapon and Item takes up blocks in your backpack. Arrange them just right, to have their adjacency effects stack and power up your weapons for ultimate zombie destruction power.
Recombine and craft your items into more powerful versions or unknown legendary new ones. Become lightning fast and dash between the zombies, or craft your gear into serious firepower that will make the horde crumble before you. Each level-up comes with a free airdrop, that might have just what you need.
Can you find the survivors? The real loot is the friends you make along the way. Fill your base with 10+ eccentric and powerful new characters, who’ll lend you their exceptional talents and unique weaponry. Find, rescue and recruit them all. So a new, completely different journey can begin for each new survivor. Let’s face it, you haven’t truly lived the deadly days apocalypse until you’ve donned the banana suit.
Can you escape the horde? Forget stopping at the rest stop for fries and a burger. On this roadtrip, every stop is a life or death decision. Every trip is different, levels are procedurally-generated and you make the choices.
