You are an investigator looking into the suspicious disappearance of Zoolingo’s CEO, whose startup is developing technology to translate animal communication. The evidence comes from documents connected to the company and the CEO’s home.
Read and cross-reference files such as messages, notes, and correspondence to work out who the employees are and how they fit into the company. You also identify their pets, while sorting useful details from distractions and drawing your own conclusions.
Deduction can proceed along different threads, and correctly identifying people and pets unlocks further evidence. Once you have pieced together the company’s connections, use the evidence to make a final deduction about the case.
Players often enjoy piecing together identities and relationships from the documents, describing the deductions as satisfying and the company-and-pet chart as a fun central puzzle. Several also appreciate the office details and the approachable challenge. A recurring reservation is that the experience is short, and some players find the final crime mystery less developed or less satisfying than the identity puzzles.

Zoolingo is a seemingly successful startup company aiming to build a translation app that allows people to understand their pets. After landing an enormous amount of investor funding, the CEO has disappeared under suspicious circumstances. The only evidence you have is a whole lot of documents. Piece together the identities and roles of the family and employees, figure out who had motive and opportunity, and construct a case to unravel the fraudulent scheme.
