You are the captain of a Victorian steamship exploring the Unterzee, a vast underground sea filled with strange islands, ports, and dangers. Your voyage can follow a chosen ambition, from searching for your father’s remains to pursuing other goals in the world of Fallen London.

Sail between ports to chart the sea, gather port reports, trade or smuggle goods, and encounter local stories through text and choices. You can recruit officers with their own storylines, pursue quests, and explore the consequences of your decisions.

Plan each voyage around fuel, food, cargo, and your crew’s fear and sanity. Fight ships and sea creatures in real-time combat, or flee and upgrade your vessel with new engines and weapons. Captains can die; a successor may inherit selected resources and advantages to continue the family’s voyages.
