We Love It's Guide to…

Borealis

Borealis is a single-player game about avoiding incoming missiles without weapons. You move carefully through their paths and try to make the projectiles destroy one another. Its three modes are Survival, Score Run, and Endless. The focus is on measured movement and planning rather than fast movement or fighting back. The game features multiple environments with different missile patterns and sound profiles. As you advance, new missile types appear, while the procedurally generated soundtrack changes in response to gameplay.

Guide slow-moving ships through incoming missile waves, making the projectiles collide as a procedurally generated soundtrack responds.
