We Love It's Guide to…

Wretch: Divine Ascent

Choose a distinct fighter and prepare for a series of 1v1 battles against builds created by other players. Combat runs automatically, so your decisions happen before each fight rather than through direct control. Between battles, spend resources in a shop on attacks, equipment, accessories, and potions. Fit them into your limited backpack and position items to connect moves and activate effects; some items can also be fused into special creations. Build around each fighter’s strengths and the interactions between attacks. Moves can counter or interrupt one another, while effects such as damage boosts, defense, and stamina shape how a combo performs. A run can include up to ten battles, with a leaderboard challenge available after ten wins.

Arrange shop-bought moves and gear into backpack combos, then watch your fighter battle saved builds from other players.
