In this top-down survivor-style action game, you control a hero who fights through waves of enemies with summoned stand fighters. Stages include boss encounters, some with a countdown to defeat them.
During runs, collect souls to recruit fighters and combine stands to create stronger units. Build a squad of up to eight stands, matching their skills and your hero’s strengths to shape a combat build.
Gather gold to open rooms and mine ore to craft gear with randomized attributes; combine matching equipment to raise its level. Artifact Mode adds equipment sets and their bonuses, while persistent upgrades and unlocks provide progression between runs.
Reviewers who enjoy the game often praise assembling and merging stand teams, experimenting with different builds, and working through unlocks and progression. Several also highlight Artifact Mode as a welcome addition and describe the runs as replayable or addictive. Others say randomness, extended grinding, and demanding timed boss fights can make progression frustrating.
