You play a wizard secret agent investigating a school taken over by the S.P.I.D.E.R. crime syndicate and its headmaster. Explore the academy, look for clues, and work toward reaching the syndicate's hideout.
Roam the castle, discover hidden passages and rooms, collect items, and duel students. The school also holds puzzles, secrets, and scattered notes that teach new spells.
Experiment with magic and objects: duplicate or enlarge things, transform into props, and brew potions from items you find. Collectible emblems and tokens unlock character upgrades, while the main quest offers a goal alongside freeform exploration. Play solo or in co-op with up to four players.
Players often enjoy the unpredictable sandbox, especially its physics-driven spell experiments and the funny mishaps that come from trying unusual solutions. Co-op is a recurring source of laughs, while reviewers who know older wizard-school games appreciate the familiar atmosphere. Some also enjoy searching the school for secrets, though reviews note that the current Early Access content is limited.
It’s time to go undercover, alone or up to 4 player co-op. The international crime syndicate S.P.I.D.E.R has taken over your school, operated by evil wizard headmaster Grumblemort! Use your wits to infiltrate the prestigious wizarding academy and explore the area. As you search for clues to his hideout, you’ll find powerful spells, collect very cool and necessary headwear (it’s not a phase!), and duel students.
The castle hides long-forgotten passage ways, powerful mysteries, highly explosive ordnance, outlandish costumes and. . . well, who knows what you'll find? A new wand would be nice.
Being a wizard means this magic stuff comes naturally to you, but you’ve forgotten most of the interesting spells. Luckily, students have left their notes laying around for you to learn from. Duplicate items, transform into props, grow things to immense sizes, or cast Clownify for. . . clown stuff to happen. Or, grab anything off the ground to brew potions that could heal you, make you powerful, remove gravity, or even delete your bones. Everything is a potion. Not everything is a good potion.
Secret Agent Wizard Boy doesn't have guardrails and allows you to play however you want. Follow the main quest to defeat Grumblemort or wreak havoc across the school grounds. If you wish to make your way through the secret dungeons no one is there to stop you, aside from the spiders of course. There are nooks and crannies to explore, there are biscuits to collect, there’s a whole world waiting for you, Wizard Boy.
