PUBG: BLINDSPOT is a 5v5 top-down tactical shooter. Players take the role of agents on a squad, using a shared view of what teammates can see to make decisions together.
Teams face off in bomb-planting rounds, taking attack and defense roles, and can also play Team Deathmatch. Players use positioning, cover, and sightlines to approach objectives and fight opposing agents.
Agents have distinct abilities and gadgets, and additional agents can be unlocked with in-game currency. Elevation, reinforced or destructible walls, and audio cues such as footsteps add information to track and consider during a match.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its unusual top-down take on tactical shooting, the value it places on coordinated squad play, and satisfying firefights in short, tense matches. Some say it takes time to adjust to the perspective and aiming, while recurring complaints include low player counts, matchmaking or regional server problems, control and crouch-aim friction, and limited content.
