We're tired of endless grinding, mini-maps and predetermined fun. That's why we intend to redefine MMOs and empower our players to find their own destiny, write their own stories, and leave a lasting impression on the world they helped us create. How will you impact it and what will your legacy be?

In a world fractured into floating islands after a forgotten calamity, you take the role of a skyfarer searching its ruins for traces of past civilisations. Your skyship is your way across the perilous skies.
Explore islands, forage for resources, and salvage ruins while assembling a crew and building a ship. Customize its components and appearance, then test its flight; grappling hooks, wingsuits, jetpacks, and surface-stick boots offer other ways to move around.
Ship movement uses physical simulation, and you can adjust vessel stats as you refine your design. Storm walls and other players make travel dangerous; PvE and PvP servers offer different settings for encounters with other crews.
The supplied reviews mostly express sadness about the game's closure and hopes for its return. Players who describe what they enjoyed recall cruising through the sky alongside distinctive player-built ships, sharing adventures with friends, and finding derelict ships and parts that made the world feel inhabited. Some also say a later game did not recreate the same experience.

| Multiplayer | Worlds Adrift is an MMO focused on shared online play in a single persistent world. It supports both Online PvP and Online Co-op, with PvP and PvE server options mentioned in the store description. Players can play solo or in crews, and reviews describe crew-based shipbuilding, exploration, trading, and ship-to-ship combat. |
| Multiplayer & mods | The game includes a level editor and uses community-created islands in the live world. Reviews also mention a community revival effort after official server shutdown, but no official multiplayer mod support or private server support is stated; one review explicitly says there was no option for private server hosting. |
