Learn Traps Through Death
Dodge Shifting Platforms
Spot Fake Doors
“Troll” is such a strong word for this 2D platformer with nearly 240 uniquely inventive levels. Don’t let screaming YouTubers convince you that this game is unfair. It’s fair. Sure, there are buzzsaws but they’re NICE buzzsaws. You will curse the guy who made Level Devil (Me😈) then ask for more.

Guide a small character through a series of compact 2D stages, with the simple goal of reaching the door at the end. The clean, pixel-style presentation keeps the focus on the platforming and the hazards around you.
Jump across gaps and avoid spikes, shifting platforms, collapsing floors, and other traps that can change the rules of a seemingly straightforward route. Each failed attempt reveals more about the level, so progress comes from spotting patterns, adjusting your timing, and trying again.
As stages advance, familiar tricks return in new combinations, alongside secrets and time-trial challenges. Local two-player mode turns levels into races to the door, and lets players trigger traps against each other.
Players often enjoy Level Devil’s surprise traps as much for their comic timing as for the challenge of figuring them out. Reviews describe deaths that can be funny rather than punishing, with short retries making it satisfying to learn a trick and anticipate it next time. Some also praise the simple presentation and playing or watching friends tackle the levels. Others find the repeated tricks, longer stages, or late-game sequences frustrating, and a few mention control, achievement, or ending issues.
Finally, a truly relaxing, meditative 2D platformer sure to bring a sense of calm to anyone with a keyboard/controller and some fingers. In a gaming world replete with difficult, scary, and sometimes "troll-ish" garbage, Level Devil stands out as a must-have in any sane person's gaming collection.
