From the Devs

Improve your word-guessing skills with this unique twist on Hangman! Guess sentences from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Unlock audio clips and images. With no way to lose, you will be immersed in the greatest love story ever written. Who is “a single man of large fortune”? D_r_y

Think like Jane Austen

In this game you'll step into the shoes of Jane Austen and write the book Pride and Prejudice just like she did it more than 200 years ago. This is a perfect opportunity to show off how much you actually remember from the book.

Gameplay similar to Hangman

Ok, maybe not exactly the same way as Jane Austen. You'll not have to come up with the story yourself *phew*. You will go through the book in a way that is very similar to the word game Hangman. One sentence at a time, guessing letters. If the letter you've guessed, is in the sentence, it will be revealed and you can continue guessing. If you guess wrong, some of the revealed letters will be removed.

A new way to Enjoy a Book

The proses of guessing the words to progress through the book really makes you pay attention to what you are reading. You get to see some clever use of words that may have gone past you when just reading. You will feel much closer to the text because you are taking such an active role.

Unlock Audio and Images

After completing each sentence, an audio recording of the sentence will be played. The recording is high quality and done with multiple voice actors. Unlock images as you progress through the book, depicting scenes from your favourite book.
