The Sushi Bar | 寿司バー

From the Devs

The Sushi Bar | 寿司バー is a Japanese-style horror game where you play as a sushi chef working the night shift. The playtime is an hour to hour and a half. There are two endings.

Immersive Sushi-Making Gameplay: Embrace the role of a sushi chef as you prepare a variety of dishes like sashimi, sushi rolls, and other Japanese dishes. Follow simple steps to chop and roll.

Theme: Unique VHS-style aesthetic. The game’s visuals feature grainy textures, color distortion, and subtle static effects that evoke the nostalgia of old-school horror films. Combined with dim lighting and flickering neon, the VHS style enhances the unsettling ambiance. (VHS can be turned off in settings)

Authentic Japanese City Vibe: Step into the heart of a bustling yet eerie Japanese cityscape, where neon signs glow softly against shadowy alleyways, and the distant hum of traffic fades into the night. The game’s setting captures the essence of a quiet Osaka neighborhood, complete with narrow streets, paper lanterns and rain.

Chilling Atmosphere: Experience the haunting ambiance of a quiet sushi bar illuminated by flickering neon lights, with sounds of the city fading into a sinister silence.

Story-Driven Horror: Piece together the bar’s dark secrets through cryptic notes and unsettling encounters.
