The game unfolds like a novel: read scenes, make choices, and use the options to confront Furong Wangyuan. Those choices steer the story along different routes and toward different outcomes.
Along the way, Ding Zhen investigates the truth behind his ability to manipulate Sharp Cut 5. The game features 20 endings and 183 CG illustrations, and its abstract voice acting can be turned off in the settings.
The supplied reviews are heavily meme-driven and often hyperbolic. Recurring positive comments highlight the absurd humor and meme-filled premise; some players also enjoy the branching endings, unusual story, and voice or music. Other reviewers find the writing difficult to follow, the visuals rough, or the experience closer to a text-based joke than a game.
