In 2019, you bring home a rare 1995 solitaire game from a thrift store and play as William, its curious new owner. As you explore the game’s fantasy dungeon, messages and media from his sister reveal more about the CD-ROM’s past.
The main activity is TriPeaks-style solitaire: match cards one number above or below the current card to clear boards. In combat encounters, chains of matches build damage against enemies, who can strike back or affect the cards in play.
New card effects and obstacles add variations as the campaign progresses. Jokers and spells offer powerful ways to change a hand, while coins earned during play can be spent on upgrades in a shop. The adventure combines these card encounters with retro-styled scenes and video sequences.
