When the PHANTOM forces attack Shell City, the National Army calls on Tembo, a powerful elephant, to fight back. With his avian companion Picolo, he takes on the invading army and helps the city’s residents.
Across 18 side-scrolling levels, Tembo jumps, charges, punches, swings, and stomps through enemies and obstacles. Players can also collect peanuts, rescue civilians, and use his trunk to spray water at fires or machinery.
Levels introduce different enemies and hazards, and some later stages require defeating a set number of enemies or meeting other milestones to progress. Completion records include clear time and rescued people, giving players goals to revisit.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its energetic elephant-led action, comic-book presentation, and satisfying platforming challenge. Some also like its humor and variety between levels.
