You play an archaeologist examining a mysterious clay artifact sent to you for study. What begins as a quiet investigation into an unusual find gradually takes on a supernatural edge.
Rotate the figurine and inspect its markings and materials with a magnifying lens. Consult books and notes for context, then enter relevant words to reveal more information and advance your research.
Each discovery connects clues about the artifact and its folklore, while changes in your surroundings build unease. The short, first-person point-and-click investigation is presented with stop-motion animation.
Players often praise the unsettling atmosphere and stop-motion presentation, which build tension without relying on jump scares. Many enjoy piecing together clues by examining the artifact and searching reference books, as well as the folklore behind the mystery. A recurring caveat is that the experience ends quickly, often just as players want to learn more.
