You head out by boat to fish across lakes, rivers, and ocean locations, with a companion along for the ride. Each spot has its own fish to discover and add to your logbook.
In active mode, choose a rod and compatible bait, cast, work the lure, and reel in your catch. Fish can put up a fight, so timing your reeling matters; larger and legendary catches offer tougher targets.
Sell fish to earn money for rods, reels, bait, boat upgrades, and access to new waters. Passive mode can fish while you are away, with settings to limit what it catches. Later, you can restore a fishing cabin, stock its pond, and display catch replicas.
