Amnesia™: Memories

The heroine wakes with no memories and must conceal her amnesia while trying to understand her life and relationships. At the start, she chooses one of five romantic routes, each set in a different world with its own character roles and story.

Reading scenes and making dialogue choices drives each route. The choices affect relationship parameters and can lead to different story developments, as the heroine pieces together what happened and learns more about the people around her.

Each route has multiple endings, with more than 20 in total. Players can also take part in Rock, Paper, Scissors and air hockey mini-games, and unlock voiced gallery images where selecting parts of an image plays additional dialogue.

In this sample, players who enjoyed the game often point to its distinct routes, mysteries that unfold across them, consequential choices, and varied endings. The artwork and voice acting also receive recurring praise. Reactions to the romances are mixed: some players enjoy the dramatic character dynamics, while others find them uncomfortable; reviews likewise differ on the heroine and her companion Orion.
