Pronoun Palace is a turn-based word-spelling roguelike set in a dystopian state that has confiscated its citizens’ pronouns. You play as one of five characters working to reclaim them.
In encounters, assemble words from letter tiles to attack enemies or defend against incoming moves: wooden tiles deal damage, while plastic tiles block. Enemies impose distinct board rules and tile effects, so each turn asks you to adapt your word choices.
Spells let you alter the board by shifting letters, creating wildcards, or changing tiles. Character abilities offer different approaches, including hole-punching tiles, submitting multiple words, and fishing for specific letters. Runs feature multiple difficulty levels, unlockable spells, and daily challenges with leaderboards.
