In an endless winter, you lead a fortress defending the last spark of human civilization from advancing enemy forces. Choose a hero and card factions, then shape a defensive force to withstand each run’s threats.
Combat is turn-based and played across lanes: enemies advance from the right, while you spend limited supplies to deploy units, build structures, and use attack or skill cards. Keep enemies from crossing the leftmost defense line; your units usually leave the field after a turn, while buildings can remain.
Between battles, visit shops and events, manage resources, and add or improve cards to develop a deck around its strongest combinations. Runs draw on a large card pool, distinct factions, and heroes with unique abilities; elite cards can also grow during a battle.
