FLYING TIGERS: SHADOWS OVER CHINA is an air-combat action game based on the historical events of America’s secret volunteer squadrons that defended China against Japan in the China-Burma-India theatre of World War 2.

Set in the China-Burma-India theatre of World War II, the game puts you in the roles of fighter pilots, transport navigators, bomber crews, and gunners serving with the AVG, RAF, and USAAF.
Missions include dogfighting enemy pilots, attacking targets behind enemy lines, defending supply routes, reconnaissance, torpedo runs, night operations, and transport flights over the Himalayas.
Fly more than 20 Allied and Japanese aircraft from cockpit or third-person view. The game combines arcade-style maneuvers with pitch-and-roll controls and slow-motion precision firing, and includes online multiplayer modes for up to 16 players.
Several supplied reviewers enjoy the accessible, action-focused flying and the excitement of maneuvering and shooting in dogfights. One review also praises the sense of immersion created by aircraft handling, damage effects, and sound. Another reviewer strongly dislikes the flying system, so the sample includes a clear negative view as well.
