You play as a young vampire lord fighting werewolf hordes and seeking to reclaim your castle. Each run sends you through a series of combat stages, with a boss waiting at the end of a route.
In each arena, dodge enemies, gather experience and resources, and choose weapons, skills, and passive upgrades as you level up. Stages also feature objectives, events, and points of interest; between fights, a branching map lets you choose where to go next.
Back at the castle, use gathered materials to improve your talents and equipment, craft items, and develop your companions. Quests can unlock allies, while completing a run opens an optional endless mode.
