Slain: Back from Hell. A heavy metal inspired arcade combat with puzzle elements and gore galore. Stunning visuals and true old school gameplay accompanied by the most metal soundtrack you've ever heard.
Developed by Steel Mantis · Published by Silver Lining Interactive

You control Bathoryn, a doomed hero fighting through a gothic world to free six cursed realms from their overlords. Each realm leads through hostile stages toward a powerful foe.
Move through side-scrolling levels, fight demons and other monsters, navigate traps, and take on bosses. Progress is linear, with checkpoints along the way and secrets to uncover.
Combat calls for timed attacks, parries or dodges, and careful use of mana. Switch among three elemental weapons, each with its own combo and use against different enemy weaknesses; there is no leveling or grinding.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its dark pixel-art style and heavy metal soundtrack, which help give its gothic setting a strong identity. Many also appreciate the challenge and find learning enemy patterns and parry timing rewarding, though other reviewers describe the difficulty and combat feel as frustrating.
