Season of 12 Colors: Summer: Message on the Paper Plane is a short visual novel about childhood memories and a promise shared by three characters: Mr. Rabbit, Jasmine, and Tangerine. Their summer encounters unfold around paper planes, familiar places, and a mysterious connection to time.

The main activity is reading. The story moves between the characters’ perspectives and is told partly out of order, so details from one account can change how earlier scenes look. A main story and a follow-up mystery section gradually bring the scattered pieces together.

There is little interaction beyond progressing through the narrative, though a decision near the end leads to one of two endings. This is the first chapter of a planned four-story series, with the other stories described as later chapters.
