As an adventurer, you enter the Barony’s dungeons to confront the lich’s curse and save the town of Hamlet. Play alone or team up with as many as three others in a first-person fantasy dungeon crawl.
Explore successive dungeon floors, fight monsters, evade traps, and search for weapons, spells, equipment, and treasure. Dungeon layouts and the tools available to you vary between runs, so you must adapt as you go.
Choose from different classes and races, then develop skills through play and manage resources such as food, item weight, and equipment durability. Runs use permadeath; in multiplayer, a fallen player can return as a ghost to help or haunt the party.
Players often enjoy Barony’s demanding runs because repeated attempts teach them how its systems work and make survival feel earned.
