Wanderers' Outpost

From the Devs

Run the frontier outpost behind the Adventurer.

Every legendary dungeon expedition begins and ends at the settlement that supports it.

Wanderers' Outpost is a fantasy colony simulation about running that settlement. Adventurers arrive seeking supplies, rest, equipment, and companions before setting out on expeditions into procedurally generated dungeons. Their victories fuel the local economy, while injuries, losses, and failed expeditions leave lasting marks on the community that depends on them.

Build the Outpost That Feeds the Dungeon

• A flexible settlement-building system featuring inns, kitchens, workshops, warehouses, production facilities, research stations, and expedition support buildings.

• An interconnected economy driven by lodging, food, merchant trade, crafting, production chains, and treasure recovered from successful expeditions.

• Daily life shaped by changing seasons, weather, resource shortages, and the growing demands of a busy frontier outpost.

Manage People With Problems

• Simulation-driven workers, guards, merchants, guests, and adventurers with individual skills, needs, schedules, personalities, and relationships.

• Hunger, fatigue, stress, injuries, recovery, morale, and social bonds influence productivity, behavior, and everyday settlement life.

• Dynamic visitors, reputation growth, and random events continually introduce new opportunities, challenges, and stories.

Send Them Below, Deal With What Returns

• An autonomous expedition system where adventuring parties prepare, travel, explore procedurally generated dungeons, battle monsters, recover treasure, and return according to the simulation.

• Persistent dungeon progression, growing reputation, discovered locations, and escalating dangers make every expedition part of the settlement's long-term history.

• Returning loot, wounded survivors, equipment losses, casualties, and newly uncovered opportunities continually reshape the economy and determine what comes next.

Protect What You've Built

• Settlement defense supported by trained guards, hunters, fortifications, and equipment when monsters and other threats reach the frontier.

• Emergencies, attacks, and unexpected crises place pressure on both the settlement's defenses and its economy.

Shape Your Archive

• Built-in save management with large archive support and automatic tracking of the mod configuration used by each save.

• Mod support for custom assets and resource data, allowing settlements to be customized and extended.
