Playback

From the Devs

What if the tapes you found weren’t just recordings... but warnings?
Playback is a first-person psychological horror experience that blurs the line between reality and memory. Dive into a disturbing mystery as you uncover the fate of the tenants in a cursed building—all through a haunted collection of VHS tapes.

You play as an investigator drawn to a seemingly abandoned apartment complex. As you explore its decaying halls, you find tapes left behind by those who lived—and died—within its walls. Each tape plunges you into a voyeuristic nightmare, showing not just what happened, but what should never have been seen. The deeper you go, the more the footage begins to feel... personal.

From flickering lights to ghostly whispers, Playback creates a constant feeling of tension and dread. Nothing is safe. Not the tapes. Not the rooms. Not even you.
