The Second Reality Room: Unspoken Truths

From the Devs

■ Concept

Their world makes sense.
You just don’t speak their language.
Not yet.

This is an empathy-driven psychological mystery adventure about chuunibyo—teens who construct their own “reality”—and the relationships that form around them.

Through Talk, Mind Read, and Translate, you piece together what’s left unsaid and uncover the truth behind their words.

The strange behavior is real. The pain underneath it is too.

This isn’t a story that laughs it off.

Character design and illustrations by Shikimi. Music and theme song by MURASAKI, with vocals by HINAKO.

Every frame, every note—crafted to draw you in.

■ Overview

You run The Second Reality Room.

Past lives. A cursed right arm. Another self that won’t stay quiet.

These are the kinds of troubles your Visitors bring—

and to them, every one is real.

Sit with them. Listen.

Uncover the feelings buried at the heart of the “Second Reality” they believe in.

And trace the path that led them there.

It starts small.

But the circle slowly widens, drawing in those around you… until it becomes something much bigger.

If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, this story is for you.

■ Gameplay

Use three unique mechanics to uncover each Visitor’s true feelings.

• Talk: Choose topics and gather clues from their strange, reality-defying words.

• Mind Read: Step into the “Second Reality” only the Visitors can see, and grasp the world beyond words.

• Translate: Put what you’ve learned together, infer what lies beneath the surface, and uncover what they truly mean.

Fail to understand them—keep making the wrong choices—and things will quietly, inevitably get worse.

What kind of “salvation” awaits when you finally get it right?
