You play as a minion sent by a wizard to break into a rival archmage’s tower and cause magical mayhem. The game supports cooperative play, with players working together—or getting in one another’s way—as they explore.
Use wands to cast spells that push, pull, smash, float, teleport, or transform, among other effects. Spells can be spoken aloud, and the goal is to vandalize objects to earn points toward a quota while avoiding the creatures patrolling the tower. Hide, distract enemies, and escape when a run gets dangerous.
Runs revolve around meeting quotas before time runs out. Gold and ingredients found during expeditions can support preparations back at the hub, where you can buy wands and brew potions for effects such as improved health or stamina. Dying or missing a quota can cost you gear or end a run.
