You play as Gordon Davis, an explorer investigating unusual creatures. In a forest where the Rake has been sighted, your goal is to locate it and either kill or trap it before it kills you.
During the day, explore the woods and place cameras and motion sensors to monitor for signs of the creature. You can also lure animals into traps and attach cameras to them, extending your view across the forest.
At night, watch camera feeds and investigate sightings in person, using a rifle and traps to confront the Rake. Explore the map for useful equipment and manage your supplies as you try to survive the hunt.
Players who enjoy Rake often point to its tense forest atmosphere, startling encounters, and the suspense of distinguishing the Rake from wildlife in the dark.
