Bit Buddy reacts to your keyboard, mouse, and even your voice in real time. Collect decorations as you use your computer, customize your workspace, explore over 3,000 community-made buddies and decorations through Steam Workshop, or create and share your own.

Bit Buddy is a desktop companion that sits on screen while you work, study, or play. Its characters animate in response to keyboard and mouse activity, and can also react to controller use.
Using your computer can unlock decorations, including character skins, accessories, and desk items. You can build outfits from collected pieces, combine duplicate items for higher-rarity rewards, and keep appearances you have unlocked.
The app tracks daily and historical input activity. Players can browse, create, and share community-made buddies and decorations through Steam Workshop, and use shared rooms to display their companions with others.

Any keyboard or mouse usage data is stored locally on your own device and is never uploaded anywhere.
Other than the required communication with Steam (for things like purchase verification, achievements, or cloud save), the game does not perform any other network communication.
