You play as an astronaut at a lunar base whose life-support systems are damaged by a meteorite impact. Your task is to restore oxygen production before the settlement runs out of time.
Move around the base to find equipment and repair damaged systems with tools such as wrenches and welding gear. You can build and pilot a repair robot for difficult-to-reach areas, and drive a lunar rover to transport people and supplies.
Work alone or coordinate with up to six players in cooperative play. The timed mission scores completion time, with multiple repair routes and leaderboards; a freeplay mode lets you explore and learn the repairs without the time limit.
Players often remember the game for its text-to-speech antics and the memes made with its voices, while some also enjoy its unusual lunar-repair premise and its appeal as a nostalgic game to revisit with friends. Reactions to the actual mission are mixed: some find solving repairs satisfying, while others describe the slow pace and repeated tasks as boring. Several reviews also mention awkward controls or limited content, and some report difficulty finding other players.
