Psalm 2 is a first-person psychological horror game centered on an elevator descending through dark shafts. Each stop opens onto a separate fragment of distorted reality with something hidden inside.
Explore each floor, examine its surroundings, and find the hidden inhabitant or anomaly. Observing what is concealed lets the elevator continue; environmental interactions and simple puzzles also guide progress.
The journey unfolds in a linear sequence of distinct locations, with the elevator linking each one. Sound, lighting, and sudden encounters shape the experience, while the story is conveyed sparingly.
Supplied reviews often praise the tense atmosphere, sound design, unsettling creatures, and frequent jump scares, with some describing the short run as an intense horror session. Others find the scares predictable or repetitive, and several wish for a clearer, deeper story.
Psalm 2 is a first-person indie horror walking simulator.

Your elevator begins moving down. You don't know how many floors separate you from the bottom or what inhabits these dark shafts. You must come to realize: the descent will not continue until you see what is hidden.
You move sequentially from floor to floor — each of which is a separate fragment of distorted reality. You don't know who or what lives here. You don't know if it's hiding around the corner, blending into the environment, or has no form at all. But the rule is always the same: the elevator won't go further until you find what is hidden.
Beautiful graphics and high-quality volumetric 3D sound will help you fully experience the game's atmosphere.
The game contains flashing lights that may trigger epileptic seizures.
