Set in the Sea of Fates, a fractured multiverse, the game puts you in command of a hero and an army drawn from factions such as Haven, Necropolis, Inferno, and Academy.
In duels, players deploy creatures, cast spells, and use artifacts and buildings before combat. Players alternate actions within shared rounds, and creatures and heroes attack one at a time.
Cards in your hand generate gold for the round, shaping which plays you can afford; your hand refills between rounds. Heroes can attack and level up during a match, gaining passive effects, while deckbuilding lets you combine cards from different factions at a resource-generation cost.
