Urak has fallen under the power of the evil sorcerer Balkoth. You play a lord seeking to reclaim the land, choosing from eight faiths and taking on the role of a warrior, mage, or thief.

Move across the overworld in turns as you develop your realm, gather resources, explore, and expand your influence. You can take control of other capitals by force or build alliances; battles shift to real-time combat, where you command armies against rival forces and monsters.

Develop lords and champions through experience and artifacts, train troops, and research spells as you prepare to defeat Balkoth. The Special Edition also includes the Legends of Urak quest pack, with adventures inspired by legendary stories.
