Set during the Crusades, the game lets you command Crusader or Saladin’s forces in battles across desert maps. You build and lead a fortress while preparing to face rival lords and their armies.
Gather resources, produce food and weapons, and manage your people as you construct walls, towers, and other defenses. Recruit troops and use their different abilities, siege engines, and battlefield positioning to defend your castle or attack an enemy stronghold.
Four historical campaigns and more than 100 skirmish missions provide set challenges against AI opponents with distinct approaches. You can also arrange custom skirmishes; the included Crusader Extreme variant adds larger armies, tactical powers, buildings, and its own skirmish trail.
