Gunbird characters go wild!

A new sensation, ‘Block-Breaking Shooter’—combining the fun of block-breaking and shooting games—is here!!

Simple controls make it enjoyable for everyone from kids to adults.

● 8-way lever

Controls left/right movement of your ship (flipper) and the paddle you hit back.

●Button

Opens/closes the flipper to hit back balls and enemy shots.

●Objective

Skillfully control the ball hit back by the flipper to destroy all blocks on the screen within the time limit.

●Game Over

If your ball (pink) falls off the bottom of the screen, or if you fail to destroy all blocks within the time limit, you lose one life.

●Blocks & Enemies

Blockon

Destroys after one hit.

Big Blockon

Splits after one hit.

Crystal Block

Destroys after two hits.

Gold Block

Indestructible block.

Later stages (World 2 onwards) feature enemy grunts and bosses firing enemy bullets and lasers.

Enemy projectiles can be bounced back, but if your ship (character) touches an enemy projectile that explodes at the bottom of the screen, you will be stunned and unable to move for a certain period.

Mooks and bosses can be defeated by hitting them with packs or enemy projectiles, just like blocks.

●Items

Numerous bonus items and hidden bonuses are prepared in each world throughout the game.

Hitting packs with bonus items increases your score.

About four years before the events of ‘Gunbird’.

This is the story of when Marion was still attending the school for wizards.

After completing her grueling training, she was finally ready to earn her full wizard's license.

To do so, she must meet the legendary wizard, “Merlin”.

Navigating various obstacles along the way,

she sets her sights on Onion Mountain, where Merlin resides.

A magical girl attending the wizards' school, “Wonder School.”

To earn her Grand Wizard certification, she sets off on her certification adventure with her rabbit butler, “PomPom.”

Flying Pirate Boy

A pirate boy attending the same “Wonder School” as Marion.

He also sets off on an adventure to earn his Grand Wizard license, accompanied by his pet parrot “GimGim”.

Beautiful Witch

MAJORIA

Age 27

A witch who teaches in the Magic Department at Wonder School.

She supports the journey to “Onion Mountain,” the location of the graduation exam.

Between worlds, she provides operation instructions for “Flipper” and “Pack.”
