We Love It's Guide to…

Stardew Valley

You inherit your grandfather’s overgrown farm and begin a new life in Stardew Valley. There is no single required way to spend your days: you can shape the farm, explore the valley, and decide whether to help restore the community center or support Joja. Grow seasonal crops, raise animals, plant an orchard, and craft machines and other useful items. You can also fish, forage, gather resources, and explore monster-filled caves for materials and treasure. Skills in farming, mining, combat, fishing, and foraging improve as you play, unlocking recipes, areas, and professions. Meet townspeople with their own schedules and stories, build friendships by talking and giving gifts, and pursue romance, marriage, and family life. Seasonal festivals add events to the calendar, and online co-op lets up to seven other players join your farm and work together.

After inheriting an overgrown farm, grow crops, explore mines, fish, and build relationships at your own pace.
