This live-action interactive drama follows a woman rising from Ganye Temple through palace factions and court politics toward the throne. You take her role as she faces rivals, allies, and shifting relationships.
Choose dialogue and actions during personal and political crises. Decisions shape relationships and story outcomes, while dangerous choices can lead to failure and invite replaying scenes to explore other paths. The story includes an Empress route and an alternative route focused on Li Tai.
As ruler, review petitions and decide how to resolve citizens’ problems, then issue edicts that reward or punish ministers. The game also provides a personalized profile based on your decisions.
In this supplied review sample, players who enjoyed the game often praise the actors, costumes, sets, and emotionally engaging court drama, with some describing the choices and main Empress storyline as immersive. Recurring criticisms include the use of AI-generated scenes, especially later in the story, and the Li Tai route feeling much shorter or less complete than the main route. Some reviewers also find the late story rushed, the choices less consequential than expected, or the audio and dialogue out of sync.
