Diggin

You play as Doug, a young mole exploring a strange meteor crater. The crater holds ores, relics, and clues connected to an ancient mole tribe that disappeared.

Each mining run, you steer your drill through layers of ground and break blocks to collect materials. Runs end when your fuel runs out, sending you back to spend what you gathered before heading underground again.

Use resources to unlock drill improvements and skills in a large upgrade tree, including abilities that automate or speed up mining. As you reach greater depths, you can enter denser areas where blocks are harder but resource yields are higher; fossils and other collectibles can also be found along the way.

Players who enjoy Diggin often praise its satisfying cycle of mining, upgrading, and returning stronger, especially when later upgrades turn runs into rapid, explosive sweeps through the ground. Some also appreciate its relaxed pace, compact length, and presentation. Others find the progression uneven or repetitive, and reviews frequently mention that fast automatic mining can make special collectibles difficult to reach.
