You are a clerk trapped in a convenience store in the afterlife, serving a stream of strange customers while trying to discover why your shift never ends. Customers tell you what they want, and you must interpret their requests and bring the right items to the counter.
Each day, work against the clock to serve customers, collect payment, and keep enough money for taxes and new stock. Order supplies that arrive later, keep shelves filled, and prepare items such as coffee and hot dogs. Customers can grow impatient, and some bring disruptive effects or other threats.
As shifts progress, more demands and store problems add to your workload, including maintaining equipment and dealing with troublemakers. Use your earnings and resources to keep the shop running while gathering clues about your past; different choices and conditions can lead to multiple endings.
