In hocus, you guide a red cube through maze-like paths to an exit. The routes appear to twist and connect in impossible ways, making perspective part of each puzzle.
Choose a direction to move the cube along a path; it continues until it reaches a junction, where you choose again. The fixed viewpoint is central to figuring out which paths connect.
Work through 120 built-in levels, or create custom puzzles and share them as a card or code. The game focuses on its perspective-based maze puzzles rather than a narrative or a range of different mechanics.
In the supplied reviews, players often enjoy the perspective-based mazes and the way they make you rethink where paths connect. Some also describe the focused puzzles as calming or satisfying. Others find the puzzles repetitive or say solving can involve too much trial and error.
