The Developer Says...

BUILD YOUR COLLECTION. CHOOSE YOUR COMMANDER. ENTER THE ARENA.

Commander Clash is a gritty pixel-art fantasy card battler where every card becomes an animated battlefield action. Cast devastating spells, summon monstrous allies, trigger brutal physical attacks, and unleash commander-specific Incantations in fast, timer-driven best-of-three matches.

BUILD YOUR ARSENAL

Choose from 16 playable commanders, each with a unique ability, combat style, dialogue, story introduction, ending, animations, and themed arena. Collect 264 cards, keep up to four copies of each, and build five named decks per profile. Equipment, stackable auras, consumable items, currency, collections, and progression persist independently for every profile.

COMMAND YOUR FAMILIAR

Acquire and develop 22 unique familiars, including two secret companions earned from hidden challengers. Attach one familiar to each saved deck and summon it once per battle. Familiars act autonomously—attacking, casting, healing, and applying buffs—while every successful action builds the power of a player-triggered Sacrifice that persists across rounds.

CONQUER STORY MODE

Fight through a randomized Path of Conquest against rival commanders and four enormous bosses. Hidden challengers can interrupt the journey with exclusive rewards. Story progress saves after victories, defeat offers Continue support, and two-player co-op Story pits partners against paired opponents while strengthening solo bosses and hidden encounters. Story is the only mode that grants victory packs, with both human partners rewarded in co-op.

CHOOSE HOW YOU CLASH

Versus and Endurance support 1v1, 2v1, 1v2, and 2v2 configurations. Free-for-All supports two, three, or four seats. Every applicable seat can be assigned to a human or one of three bot difficulties, including fully automated battles. Each human selects an independent profile and deck.

The shared HUD keeps cards, items, familiar controls, and combat information at full size while changing to match the active player. Cycle living targets with keyboard or controller input; game-styled markers identify the active fighter, current target, round wins, and combat status. Asymmetric modes grant the solo side compensating health and actions.

ENDURANCE

Configure the same human and bot combinations available in Versus, then keep fighting randomized opponents until a matchup is lost. All-bot setups become continuous Auto Runs, and personal bests are saved to the active profile.
