In a resource-strained future, you play Earth's last astronaut, sent to the Moon after its colony goes silent and its energy supply is lost. With the small ASE robot as your companion, investigate what happened and try to restore the link that could help Earth.
Explore lunar bases and open terrain on foot, in zero gravity, by rover, and by monorail, with play shifting between first- and third-person views. Use equipment including a cutting laser and robot arms, and work with ASE to clear obstacles and reach new areas.
Progress through a mostly linear, chapter-based adventure by solving environmental and timing puzzles, managing limited oxygen in exposed areas, and finding logs, holograms, and other clues that reveal the colony's past.
Recurring praise in the supplied reviews centers on the lonely lunar atmosphere, detailed environments, and soundtrack, which players say help make exploration feel immersive. Many also enjoy piecing together the colony's story through found records and holograms, along with the approachable puzzles and variety of traversal. Some reviewers find the story unconvincing or the controls awkward, and reports of stuttering and the short runtime temper the positive impressions.
