Derby Life: Ranch & Race

From the Devs

Live an open-world ranch life with your horse

You are the second-generation owner of a ranch that was once famous, but has now fallen into decline.
A tragic accident during the final race of the legendary champion horse “Eclipse,” just moments from victory, changed the fate of the ranch.
In the midst of despair, however, a fateful encounter with “Eclipse II” awaits you.
With the help of trusted allies such as Sonny, a skilled but blunt trainer, and Kate, a thoughtful veterinarian, raise the ultimate racehorse and stand against the schemes of a rival ranch owner driven by greed.

Everyday life and exploration on an open-world ranch:

Move freely with your horse across a carefully recreated ranch and vast natural surroundings, and enjoy a wide range of activities.

• Ride through open pastures where sheep and cattle graze peacefully, care for the animals, and protect them from the dangers of wild beasts.

• Explore mysterious forests surrounded by tall trees and search for hidden treasures.

• Protect your horse from predators encountered during forest exploration, and hunt various animals.

• Experience the thrill of galloping across white sandy beaches, breaking through the waves.

• Spend a relaxing moment fishing at a seaside pier while watching the sunset.

• Take part in different activities on horseback and help your horse grow through time spent together.

A detailed training system, from bloodlines to unlocking potential:

Great racehorses are not born—they are made.
Through steady care and training, develop your horse into a top-class racehorse.

• Gain your own exceptional horse with unique traits through carefully designed breeding and taming systems.

• Improve your horse’s abilities through training courses such as flat tracks, hill courses, and obstacle courses.

• Unlock and enhance your horse’s potential through forest exploration, pasture activities, and beach riding.

• Purchase equipment from the shop to strengthen or maximize your horse’s stats, and customize your horse.

• Manage the stable to keep your horse in good condition, and provide quality hay and treats.

A strategic racing system and World Tour:

Horse racing is no longer something you just watch.
Take control of your racehorse, read the track and your rivals, and aim for victory.

• Take on the role of a jockey and race together with your horse. If direct control feels difficult, you can hire a skilled jockey.

• Follow the best racing line to bring out your horse’s full potential, overcome rival challenges, and claim first place.

• Take part in the World Tour, held in famous cities around the world, and test your skills on a global stage.

• Compete for records with players worldwide, reach the top, and leave your name in the Hall of Fame.
