The Lab

Set in a pocket universe connected to Aperture Science, The Lab is a collection of separate VR experiments rather than one continuous campaign. Players move through a central laboratory hub and use motion controls to explore spaces and handle objects.

Activities include defending a castle by drawing and firing a bow at incoming waves, using a slingshot to knock objects around a storage annex, and taking on an arcade-style space shooter. Robot Repair has players manipulate machinery and components while trying to fix a robot; the hub also offers a mechanical dog to interact with.

Other experiments focus on looking around and examining environments, including scenic Postcards locations, a model of the solar system, and a human-body scan.
