Like a bastard child of Quake 3 and Super Meat Boy, SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell is truly hardcore and focuses on speed and fast reaction.

After demons steal his beer, Marty heads into Hell to get it back. The game casts you as a first-person platformer navigating deadly obstacle courses at speed.
Run and jump between platforms, dodge hazards, and fire projectiles as you race to each level’s exit portal. Demonic abilities add options such as teleportation, gravity changes, time reversal, and hovering.
Levels are built for repeated attempts: learn their layouts, find routes and hidden beer collectibles, and improve your time. Medals provide progression goals, while leaderboards let you compare runs; a level editor offers a way to make custom courses.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its fast, demanding time trials and the satisfaction of replaying levels to refine routes and shave off time. Reviews also highlight the mix of movement abilities, leaderboard competition, and heavy metal soundtrack. Some players find the challenge compelling, while others are put off by strict timers, repeated attempts, or movement and control that feels slippery or unreliable.
